The Quitman Heritage Foundation (QHF) was chartered to initiate and carry forward the display and preservation of the culture and heritage that represent the City of Quitman, Wood County, the East Texas region and beyond.

The Overarching Objectives for the Foundation are:   To promote and market the City of Quitman, Wood County and the Region;   To provide an educational and entertaining attraction for visitors to Quitman, Lake Fork and Wood County; and   To sustain and preserve our historic facilities in Quitman and Wood County for future generations.

The future is now...The Quitman Heritage Foundation is building its own future through the exhibits of the Light Crust Doughboys, the Golden Age of Radio and Academy Award® winning actress Sissy Spacek, our hometown celebrity.
